One of the largest American and global customer experience (CX) technology and services company, TTEC, has finally resolved a security breach on its technology systems that was identified on September 12th, in which it started recovery efforts. Although there were brief disruptions in the business, TTEC managed to resume its global operations. A full investigation is underway, where findings will be used to strengthen its cyber security systems.

German global car manufacturer, Audi, is developing a digitalized ecosystem for electric cars and autonomous driving to vastly improve its customer experience (CX) and meet anticipated future demands of the electric car owner. CARIAD, the automotive software organization created by Volkswagen, will be utilized by Audi to create new business models and revenue streams, along with 5G, Internet of Things (IoT), and artificial intelligence (AI) technology.

In Canada, global Total Experience Management (TXM) leader, Alida, has announced a new member of its Partner network, Möbius Business Redesign, to help them enhance customer experience (CX) and insights to Möbius’ clients across Belgium, France, and the Netherlands. Möbius offers solutions to improve CX through designing and deploying sustainable business solutions. Alida’s TXM platform will provide industry and role-specific insights and engagement strategies to close the feedback loop, enabling Möbius to identify issues and implement solutions to their clients.

Egyptian state-owned fintech platform, e-finance Investment Group, has announced its plans to go public by proceeding with a full initial public offering (IPO), listing its shares on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX). e-finance is the country’s leading digital payments infrastructure developer and the first fintech platform. Over 177 million primary ordinary shares will be issued on the EGX, while an additional 80 million existing ordinary shares will be issued in a secondary sale. Both primary and secondary issued shares will represent a 14.5% share capital in the company.

In Bangalore, India, global IT consulting and business process services leader, Wipro Limited, has launched the Wipro-Google Cloud Innovation Arena. This is a joint innovation center between Wipro FullStride Cloud Services and Google Cloud, offering in-house technical expertise that ensures smooth transitions to cloud technology and accelerates innovation initiatives to drive business transformation. The solution is accessible for all industries looking to rapidly adopt cloud technology into their business systems.

In general news, the 2021 Airport Service Quality awards released this year’s best airports, presented by Airports Council International (ACI) World in partnership with Amadeus. The awards rank the best airports in the world based on customer feedback. There are 108 awards that have been won by 89 individual airports. Emerging out of the COVID-19 pandemic, new award categories were introduced, including “Best Hygiene Measures by Region”.
