Leading mobile operator in Tunisia, TUNISIANA, which became Ooredoo on April 24, 2014, is the Tunisian subsidiary of the Ooredoo Group. A key player in the new technology sector, Tunisiana has relied on rapid technical progress to develop suitable, innovative and quality services and relies on its impeccable customer service to gain the trust of its subscribers. Since its commercial launch on December 27, 2002, TUNISIANA had changed the landscape of new technologies in Tunisia by offering a range of innovative offers and services, in accordance with international standards. In July 2012, Tunisiana launched 3G services intended for more than 6.6 million subscribers and covering 48% of the population. In 2014, the network expanded to almost 90% of the population. The license issued by the State allows Tunisiana to deploy an HSPA + network on both 900Mhz and 2100 Mhz ensuring more extensive coverage covering the interior regions and high definition “HD wide band AMR” voice quality. The network allows speeds reaching 42 Mgbps to ensure the best service to its subscribers. While advocating change in continuity, the new Ooredoo brand was launched on April 24, 2014.
