There was interesting news from Munich, Germany, where Panasonic has established a Customer Experience Centre (CXC) on its Ottobrun campus. The 6,000 sq m facility is intended to assist Panasonic in interacting with B2B clients, trade partners, developers, start-ups and universities by providing numerous function rooms with special themes such as electro-mechanical components. Approximately 74% of Middle Eastern organizations plan to invest more than $200,000 in customer experience (CX) technology this year, according to the Customer Experience Live Show Middle East Intelligence Report. The Middle Eastern CX industry is evolving rapidly as organizations build their CX abilities and undergo a metamorphosis in order to cope with economic challenges and changing market needs, finds the report. American digital CX outsourcing provider, ibex, has welcomed Dan Hess as the new Senior Vice President, Business Development and Healthcare, bringing with him more than 25 years of healthcare sales expertise. Hess previously worked for large healthcare services delivery companies, such as Owens & Minor, Inc. and Firstsource Solutions. He has a track record of success collaborating with several of the country’s largest health-care providers. Over in India, Energizer Ltd., a renowned digital content and business process outsourcing (BPO) firm of 22,000 employees, has confirmed reports that it is engaged in preliminary talks regarding a potential sale with BPEA Advisors Private Ltd. The company announced in a statement that it is actively considering its strategic alternatives. The global Business Process-as-a-Service (BPaaS) market is expected to reach US$131 billion by 2027, growing at a CAGR of 9.8% from 2020 through 2027, according to Global Industry Analysts, Inc’s 2022 Global Business Process as a Service (BPaaS) Market Report. The US has the largest share of the BPaaS market, valued at US$18.4 billion.
